A spring walk around 219 (Eryijiu) Park in Anshan today.

It was a lovely morning so off we went to the park for a wander.
Walked past the Anshan Museum.

And then headed toward the Jade Buddha Temple.

We wandered around looking at all kinds of things, some blossom, people, children, lakes and boats.

An interesting meeting place in the park is the Lonely Hearts Corner, where older people particularly, gather and read profiles of others to see if anyone suits. Many lonely people here so it seems, Men gather around the outside and the women are not so shy and are in the centre.

So, onward and  we decided to join some others and hire a boat, there was quite a selection to choose from.

Well being an old sailor I thought I could anything in a boat.

Mei and I boarded and found the pedals to propel  the boat, we had it for an hour,     off we went. Mei was Captain and was very stern.

So I paddled around for a while and found the legs were not as fit as they used to be.

I found that being a stoker in the engine room was not as good as being a gunner.

So enough of pedaling and back alongside and into the park again.

Kids driving little cars, fishing and people just enjoying life.

An old beggar lady passes by.

And so off we went home passing the balloon seller on the way.

Home and a cup of tea.
