Ophthalmologist Visit for me

Had a bit of an eye problem so Mei Li gets concerned and takes me to see the Ophthalmologist.

After paying the consultation fee of 5 Yuan (about an NZ Dollar) I was ushered into see the Senior Ophthalmologist complete with an escort of 5 nurses. Felt kind of important and then I was  was greeted in English.

Sat me down in the eye examining chair and rested the chin on this rack while the Ophthalmologist did a bit of probing and scraping.

Announced that I had conjunctivitis probably due to pollen or maybe dust blowing in from the Gobi Desert. It has been very windy lately.

Prescribed some drops which cost near to 35 Yuan (about NZ 7.00) and of home where Mei Li administered the drops and I was all better. Wonderful.

The eyes are Ok but not sure about the head - getting a bit worn looking.
