A 1907 photo of my grandmothers house in Mt Heslington Rd, Spring Grove. The farm actually belonged to William Hildreth, who purchased the land from the New Zealand company and he named it Mt Heslington after his mothers birthplace in York, England. Robert Eden initially rented the farm and worked as the manager. Then later bought it.
Grandmother's family home at 507 Mt Heslington Road, Spring Grove being renovated by new owners. A family member (Adreinne Tibble) contacted me and said that any of our family would be welcome to visit.
Current owners are Henri and Ingrid Jansen.

We were very impressed with the work that you have done and also to walk the floor boards that my grandmother, Emily Cecelia Eden, had also walked.
